Recently, Henan Special Inspection Institute completed the job of testing world first-class heavy lifting equipment—MYQ 5000 tons of single frame general gantry crane, which filled the technological gaps of  5000 tons lifting equipment. What's more, it has set the record of world's largest hoisting capacity with the international advanced level.

According to reports, MYQ crane is researched and developed by the First Construction Company of CNPC  together with world famous crane designer—British Dorman long Technology Co., Ltd. The rated lifting capacity of gantry crane is 5000 tons, the maximum lifting height up to 160 meters. It has the global largest lifting capacity at present.

The company attached great importance to the type examination of heavy lifting machineries. After research, weighing, comparison and demonstration, they finally appointed Henan special inspection institute to conduct the type examination because of its outstanding technological capability. It takes special prosecutors of Henan Province about six months to make test schemes which conform to national regulations and product features. It entered into the stage of field trials in October 2014 and finally succeeded completing every type-examination indicators.

President of Henan Province special inspection institute ,the completion of type examination of MYQ cranes is not only a milestone in the history of China's special equipment inspection, but is a major achievement of the equipment manufacturing industry in China, said Wang Yang, president of CSEI in Henan.
In 2011, CSEI of Henan won the authorization of AQSIQ and became one of the several gantry cranes type-examination qualified institutions.
